SORAsound Lowers ZYX Omega Prices: $1,380 – $2,295

July 12, 2010

SORAsound has now lowered its prices of ZYX Omega cartridges. The lowest price offered to certain loyal and long standing customers of ours is $1,380. This ($1,380) is in fact the lowest a ZYX Omega has cost me. So, there would be no profit for SORAsound but this is a good indication of our support to our customers.

There are those who have paid less than I have for ZYX Omega. These people are offering ZYX Omega cartridges at much higher prices than SORAsound prices. Obviously these sellers can beat SORAsound prices and easily replenish their inventory. If you have received an offer for ZYX Omega at lower prices than mine, and provide appropriate information, I will do my best to beat their offer.

The highest SORAsound now sells ZYX Omega is $2,295. This price is valid to our new (and real) customers as well. (note to those who pose as customers and are just fishing for information: please do not waste your time or ours. SORAsound is committed to its customers and we prefer to focus on them).

The retail prices of ZYX Omega Gold is still up to $8,300 in certain parts of the world.

You can still have a ZYX Omega or ZYX 4D for Free when you purchase a turntable and a tonearm for $7,995 or more.

For further information regarding ZYX, please check ZYX CHATS.

SORAsound Representing Ortofon

July 2, 2010

What a great way to start our 4th of July week-end celebration. SORAsound is now representing Ortofon.

On display, we will be having an Ortofon MC A90 and MM Black. The Ortofon MC A90 will be used on DaVinci Audio inUnison turntable and a Graham tonearm.

Roughly a year ago, my manufacturer/ distributor friend, Robin Wyatt whom I respect tremendously and whose line I represent told me about Ortofon A90 and suggested I pick the line. It took a while but I am glad I chose to do so. After talks with Ortofon, and satisfied customers, I realized this is a line that SORAsound needs to add to its already extensive and high quality line of products.

Please contact me for your Ortofon related needs. I am still learning about the product line but am so impressed that I am considering letting my customers try it and compare with some cartridges at significantly higher prices. Go with a name that has proven itself.

ZYX Omega G: Why $2,400? Why $8,300? Have it FREE!

June 17, 2010

ZYX Omega G: Retail price based on today’s exchange rate $2,400 to $8,300 (VAT and taxes excluded).

North American retail price for ZYX Omega G: now $6,500 but used to be $8,300 until around the end of Feb. 2010.

A few months ago, I wrote How Can They Justify the Difference Between $2,695 and $8,300? Guess what, euro is weaker now. So, the $2,695 is $2,400 today! And this is from a distributor who actually does have a dealer network. Look at all the people in the chain who make (and should make) a profit: ZYX, its suppliers, its global agent, Sibatech, its distributor, and its dealer.

Then why was ZYX Omega G $8,300 in North America until end of Feb. 2010 (now $6,500), and still appears to be $8,300 in some other countries? Read more…

ZYX Inventory — Please Help Sell!

June 7, 2010

Given SORAsound is now somewhat limited in advertising of ZYX products, and given my existing high level of inventory, I need your help and word of mouth in selling  ZYX cartridges and ZYX ARTisan Phono Stages.

SORAsound ZYX inventory is sold at great special prices. In fact, in some cases ZYX cartridges are offered for free. If you purchase a turntable and a tonearm from SORAsound at $7,995 or above, you get a ZYX Omega for free. What if you prefer to have a ZYX 4D or a ZYX Airy 3 instead? Sure. As you wish. But I’d rather get rid of ZYX Omegas first. Bear in mind that the ZYX Omega G which now retails at $6,500 used to retail $8,300 in North America as recently as around end of Feb. 2010. In fact, in some countries it still retails at $8,300.

So, you can have a turntable, a tonearm, and a ZYX Omega G from SORAsound for less than the retail price of the ZYX Omega cartridge in some countries! How could this be possible? Well, SORAsound is known to take care of its customers well. The lowest ZYX Omega has cost me is $1,380 but can be yours FREE!

So, I appreciate your help and the word of mouth generated in helping potential buyers coming to SORAsound for the best prices possible. As always SORAsound existing customers receive better pricing from SORAsound depending their past purchases. I have had some new customers contacting me to buy a ZYX Omega at my lowest offer of $1,495. Sorry, you need to be an existing SORAsound customer with a history to qualify for this price.

SORAsound ZYX customers who are concerned about the declining price of ZYX cartridges, please read about the very generous ZYX buy back and purchase credit programs that I established while ago and expect to be in effect till the end of 2010.

Please check out SORAsound advertisements on SORAsound.com, Audio Asylum, AudioXsell, PinkFishMedia, Audio Mart, and a few other places. I will soon be advertising on ebay as well. But our best venue for selling is the word of mouth by our loyal customers. Thanks for your support.

ZYX Omega: My Cost $1380+; Yours Free

May 10, 2010

ZYX Omega: Cost me $1,380 to $2,000
ZYX Omega G Retail Prices:
North America – from around end of Feb. 2010: $6,500, before $8,300
Other countries - from $2,695 to $8,300
Yours FREE.

SORAsound is pleased to offer ZYX Omega cartridges to you for free when you purchase a turntable and tone-arm from SORAsound retailing $7,995 or more. What if you prefer to have a ZYX 4D instead? Just holler. I will accommodate you.

What if you only want to buy a ZYX Omega without purchasing a turntable or cartridge? That is fine too. Our prices are from $1,495 to $2,695. My existing customers qualify for more discount.

The lowest a ZYX Omega has cost me is $1,380. The most I have paid for a ZYX Omega including shipping and duties is $2,000. Obviously there are people for whom ZYX Omega costs less than my bottom line cost, in particular now that dollar seems to be getting stronger. These people can still theoretically beat SORAsound’s already low prices and make more profit than I do. Please do your research and see the best price you could get.  I do my best to beat any “valid” prices. Hopefully you will come to SORAsound for your purchase. SORAsound is still your best source for ZYX cartridges.

Hurry up while my inventory lasts. At this point, I have no interest in ordering more ZYX Omega cartridges.

This is a limited time offer, revokable at anytime. Certain conditions may apply. Please call for more details. Please bear in mind certain manufacturers do not allow us to discount their products. Please kindly read disclaimers in similar ads.

Munich Hi-End Show – Short Report

May 9, 2010

It was a pleasure to attend the Munich Hi-End show. It was in particular important for me to see some friends, customers, manufacturers and other people from the industry. Spent a good amount of time with Roger Adamek of RCM Audio, walking around, and taking pictures. Roger is a very technical person. He approaches photography as an art and a science, same as his approach to building his high quality Bonasus amplifier and Sensor phono stage.

My dear friends Peter, and Jolanda of DaVinci Audio were as always enthusiastic and welcoming.. Everyone knows how stunningly good these high quality products are. I saw DaVinci Audio inUnison turntable in another room as well. Great sound. Can not wait for my blue inUnison.

AMAZON Audio room had on display Hartmut Janssen’s latest creations: First Choice turntable, and AMAZON Audio Speakers. Both great products that will soon be present at SORAsound showrooms.

Hans Henrik Moerch presented his tonearms and (finally) his latest reference creation. Moerch reference tone-arm just was selected as Absolute Sound’s 2010 Golden Ear Award.

Munich is a good city (pictures to be posted soon by my web lady), nice walks, great culture and friendly people. Many speak good English. As a city, it is a lot more interesting for me than Vegas. So, I was a lot more eager to go to the Munich Hi-End show than The CES.

In all honesty, the Munich Meridien Hotel was the least impressive Meridien Hotel I have ever stayed at, even though they had kindly upgraded me to an Executive room, and the service was about as good as all other Meridien Hotels I know of in other countries and America. The location is also pretty boring. So if you are heading to the Munich show next year, I neither recommend the hotel (unless you get a much better rate than I did) nor the area.

Had a very good meal at Tantris, known to be the best restaurant in Munich, and one of the best restaurants in Germany.

There were two events: hifideluxe at the Meridien Hotel, and Munich High-End show at the MOC, Munich. I am a pretty quick decision maker. I go to a Read more…
