i started my analog journey with two cartridges: miyabi 47 and ZYX airy phono cartridges. very different from each other. i enjoyed both. there are enough pages on this website associated with ZYX. so let me focus on miyabi 47.
haruo takeda san of miaybi fame collaborated with 47 Lab to create this magnificent cartridge. many cartridges take a couple of hours to make. not miyabi 47. it takes a good while to make, both in the actual work and in the time between each testing period. according to haruo takeda sensei the cartridge needs to sit idle after each test until it is time for a new round of testing.
